- 75 OHM RG179 COAXIAL CABLE: This coaxial or coax cable is an electrical contact with a copper conductor, surrounded by an insulated layer of high-density polyethylene, and tubular conducting shield with an outer wire jacket. Weighing 60% less and taking up to 40% less space than standard Mini RG-59/U Type coaxes this cable is flexible, satin smooth to the touch, and extra strong.
- CARRIES VIDEO SIGNALS: Our RG179 HD-SDI coax cables are designed to be used for professional broadcast applications, medical equipment, audio/video security systems and audio/visual equipment. Our cable is useful in camera-mounted installations where its thinness and flexibility will help keep it out of the way for operators. Despite its small size, our RG179 SDI Cable is quite rugged and can even be tied in knots without effecting performance.
