  • To Convert 110 Volts to 220 VoltsMake sure the device you are plugging into is using less power than the transformer is rated for. Insert the voltage tap plug (located on the rear of the transformer) into the pair of holes marked "110". Plug the power cord of the transformer into a 110 volt power source. When the power switch is turned on, the voltage on the front panel socket marked "220" will change to 220 volts.
  • To Convert 220 Volts to 110 VoltsMake sure the device you are plugging into is using less power than the transformer is rated for. Insert the voltage tap plug (located on the rear of the transformer) into the pair of holes corresponding to the local voltage standard. Double check to make sure nothing went wrong.
  • NoteOn the back of the machine, the upper row of input selections. You need to connect the power cord yourself. The power of this product is too high. It can only be connected to the cable. Use a cable to connect directly to electricity. You cannot use a plug. The plug cannot carry that much power.
