BUSlink CipherShield 2-Bay RAID drive supports large capacity and USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps/eSATA interface. It supports RAID 0 striping with 2 drives for fast transfer and HDD for large capacity. This standard Mode 0 drive requires that the key remain inserted while drive power is on to be authenticated. This is suitable for when human intervention is not possible such as at remote sites or datacenters. The desktop casing design is for standard corporate, government, and everyday uses. This CipherShield encryption drive features single-factor authentication with a single key. CipherShield drive is perfect for secure data storage and backup for federal, state, and local government agencies, corporations, small businesses, universities, schools, healthcare, law, and personal use. Authentication is based on a hardware key that must be inserted. The advantage of hardware encryption over software encryption is that you don't have to remember long complicated PIN/password and worry about Trojans/viruses or software upgrades; making it the easiest-to-use solution for secure storage. The unit is bundled with keys and registration is required for key duplication.
