A cost effect Single Phase Type 2 Surge Protector, ideal for protecting valuable process equipment from damaging voltage surges caused by switching that could result in failure, leading to machine downtime and associated costs. This Type 2 surge protection device, which features 2 protected poles, is the perfect SPD solution to transient overvoltage switching issues. To comply with the latest 18th Edition of the IET all new electrical installations and existing ones being modified must be adequately protected from rogue transient overvoltage. Type 2 SPDs must be used in conjunction with a Type 1 device to ensure full system protection.
