Fits surface rt 2 perfectly. Fits our surface rt 2 PERFECTLY with or without the keyboard attached. All ports are accessible.The elastic strap keeps it securely closed. I have no worries that our surface is totally protected. Great quality for the awesome price.Not flimsy at all. Very happy I made this purchase. 5The best that beats the rest! Another exceptional Fintie case. This is my 8th Fintie case (7 for kindle) and this for Surface 2.I have tried other brands and was disappointed. All 8 of my Fintie case perfectly fit my devices and are constructed of top quality material and are a great value for our cost. The other cases that disappointed me were considerably were lower quality: the skin on one peeled in the second monthof use and another did not protect my device when it fell . M first Fintie case is now 5 years old and looks as good as it did when I received it.I treat it with saddle soap. The kindle protected by that case had also fallen but was not damaged. An associate believes the kindle is made rugged and needs no case. The appearance of his naked kindle next to my Fintie protective case proved him wrong. H es has replaced his kindle, but has his new kindle in a Fintie case. My father use to say that some people have to graduate from the School of hard knocks to learn what others know. This case has a feature I am very appreciative of: the Surface 2 can stay in the cover and connect with the Type 2 keyboard and the keyboard can travel with the tablet in the Fintie cover My Fire HD and Surface 2 contain all the files I use to carry in a loaded, heavy book bag. I no longer travel with a book bag file cabinet or a laptop; I slide my Fire, MiFi device Bluetooth keyboard(also in a Fintie cover into a canvas Messenger bag with my Surface 2 and its keyboard and head for the airport. It is a light, compact carry-on that fits comfortably under the airplane seat. Fintie covers are snug fit that is what makes them so protective. Patience and easy coaxing works best. 5Surface Cover I got the black. It got here within 2 days, which is very quick. It looks good, the cutout are where they are supposed to be. It fits well w/o moving around & there is an elastic strap to hold the cover closed. As a cover though, it serves the purpose while looking good.** I am editing my comment & adding a star.- I originally posted that I didn't feel the kickstand was sturdy enough. The reason mine didn't seem to be sturdy is because I had the unit in it upside down. Duh! I even posted that " the cutouts are where they are supposed to be". (I left that up there) I discovered this when I went to use the camera & couldn't find the button. ( My first tablet) I worked in the cellular industry for a decade & a half , I should know better.So for those of you who thought the same thing, check to make sure you have the tablet installed correctly. My apologies to the seller. This cover is perfectly functional & a good buy. 5Excellent product Perfect fit for my original Surface RT. Well-made, durable, and functional in both keyboard and tablet configuration. Even though Microsoft abandoned these older Surface RT tablets, they are still useful and worth protecting. Buy it! 5look no further This is a very nice case. Looks nice and isn't bulky. It even has enough room for the keyboard. I would recommend this case and have purchased one for my daughter for Christmas wich is why when I was looking for one, I looked first with Fintie. 5you get what you pay for First thing you will notice is the cheap material they used. Then when you tried to plug in your surface with the case on its even more of a nightmare. The surface plug in is slightly slanted to the back and the case blocks enough to make it difficult to charge with the case on. Last thing I don't like about this product is the stand. It only has one setting, which props the surface pretty straight up and down. I wish it has not options of how straight thru stand is. There are cons about this item that's worth mentioning. First it fits the type cover. Second the closure has a little magnate to ensure a bit more secure. 2Just what I ordered! Very Happy with this Product!
