The adjustable Fresnel Lens Reflector allows you to narrow the wide beam angle of most monolights to a focusable, controllable beam of light. A valuable bi-product of the fresnel lens and focusing design is the ability to intensify the output of the light by roughly three times. The Fresnel Lens Reflector produces a focused beam of light rendering sharp shadows, saturated color and even coverage, a valuable light shaper for fashion, theater or product work. Profoto & Compatible Lights - Popular models include: ProfotoPopSpot UltraNotes Intended for use with LED lights, the focusing lens element is Optic Polymer (plastic) and will melt when used with hot lights or strobes with modeling lights. Works best on monolights that have a standard protruding front lens element such as the Fotodiox Pro LED-100WB Studio LED style of lights.
