4-point STAR | | This filter divides light element in a photo into a cross star with four points. This effect is relatively subtle and is often used in candle or street photography, reinforcing light without allowing it to detract from the central image.
6-point STAR | This filter diffracts light into six separate beams radiating out from a central point. The flare is slightly more vivid than the 4-point STAR filter.
8-point STAR | This filter diffracts light into eight separate beams radiating out from a central point. The brightness and fragmentation of light can overwhelm a shot, so it is best to use this filter sparingly.

Please note: be careful not to over-tighten the filters when stacking, the stack gives you extra leverage that makes it easy to screw the filters too tight.
