HOYA UX II UV incorporates 10-layer (both sides) HMC-WR coating with water-repellent features providing fingerprint and smudge resistance. This coating is based on HOYAS popular HMC - Hoya Anti-Reflection Multi Coating. The coating performs water drop contact angle over 100 degrees, that is considered to be high-grade performance in terms of price - performance point of view. HOYA UX II UV incorporates a low-profile aluminum- made frame to avoid vignetting when attached to wide or super wide angle lenses.
