It is proven highly effective in helping stop theft, misuse or vandalism of fire extinguishers. It also leaves extinguisher accessible for emergencies without interfering with fire fighting in any way. If the protected fire extinguisher is moved from its normal position, the device emits a piercing 105 dB alarm. Highly visible stop sign design discourages wrongful use. Deactivation pin is supplied for ease in servicing the extinguisher. It mounts easily next to fire extinguisher. Housing unit is super tough UV-stabilized molded polycarbonate. Compact design 3.37 in. (83mm) in diameter and 1 in. (25mm) deep. 9 VDC alkaline battery is included. 1 year guarantee against breakage of ABS housing and on the electronic components.
