Sony DVM Digital Video Cassettes are designed for maximum performance in digital video (DV) camcorders and VCRs. Sony DVM cassettes utilize an advanced pure cobalt thin-film evaporated tape with a special DLC Diamond-Like Carbon protective layer to achieve a resolution of 500 lines - 100 lines greater than the resolution offered by standard Hi8 and S-VHS recording. To ensure excellent running stability, DVM tape is housed in a high-precision mechanism within a tightly enclosed, anti-static cassette shell. All of this in a 3-pack.
