The ARCA Base Plate and Riser System positions the camera at the appropriate optical height for mounting accessories and allows for quick setup transitions. The Riser Plate can be used alone with the ARCA Shoulder Pad or ARCA Steadicam Plate; the Base Plate is required for tripod or dovetail systems. The ARCA Riser Plate includes a Lens Mount Adapter with an adjustable rail to distribute the strain from the lens mount to the camera body while preventing the shifting of accessories (like the RF to PL mount) while swinging out lenses. Side-facing -20 mounting points let you keep accessories attached while transitioning between setups. The Base Plate allows you to remove the Bridge Plate Dovetail to attach to a Studio Base Plate or directly to a dovetail. Optional 15mm rods in a lightweight spacing add support to your setup with other LWS accessories, like the Universal Lens Support (15mm LWS). Tie-downs let you quickly adjust the positioning of the Bridge Plate on accessories like the Safety Dovetail 8, Unified Bridge Plate, or the Shoulder Rig V3.
